Te Mata Coleraine Cabernet Merlot Wooden Boxed 2024

Te Mata Coleraine is the flagship Cabernet and Merlot blend of New Zealand's oldest winery, in a wooden presentation box.

The Te Mata vineyards at Havelock North were first planted in 1892 and have operated continuously since, which makes this the country's longest-running estate. Coleraine was first made in 1982 from the oldest blocks on the Coleraine and Awatea vineyards, on gravel and limestone slopes that ripen Bordeaux varieties reliably. Cabernet Sauvignon leads, with Merlot and Cabernet Franc, matured in French oak barriques.

Decant and serve at 17 degrees with roast beef, lamb or game. Among the longest-lived reds in the country.
