Tenuta di Biserno "Il Pino di Biserno" IGT Toscana is the second wine of Lodovico Antinori's Bibbona estate on the Tuscan coast.

Tenuta di Biserno lies in the hills above Bibbona, just inland and a little north of Bolgheri in the Alta Maremma, an area of Tuscany with almost no winemaking tradition until the second half of the twentieth century, when Bordeaux varieties planted near the sea proved unexpectedly at home. Lodovico Antinori, who founded Ornellaia, established Biserno with his brother Piero in the early 2000s on clay, sand and stony soils cooled by breezes off the Tyrrhenian. Il Pino draws on the same vineyards as the flagship, in a blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, aged in French oak and framed for earlier drinking.

Serve at around 18 degrees with grilled and roast meats, or a plate of aged pecorino. It drinks well from release and will keep for a decade.
