Tenuta Ghiaccio Forte Morellino di Scansano is a Sangiovese-based red from the Maremma, the warm, coastal stretch of southern Tuscany where the local Morellino clone of Sangiovese ripens fully each year.

Tenuta Ghiaccio Forte farms vineyards near Scansano in the heart of the Maremma, a region shaped by Mediterranean sea breezes, varied soils and a warmer climate than inland Chianti, all of which give Morellino di Scansano its generous, sun-warmed character. The estate is part of the Castello Romitorio group, which has continued to develop the property's vineyards while maintaining its focus on expressive, site-driven Sangiovese.

An approachable, food-friendly red, it pairs well with grilled meats, tomato-based pasta and rustic Tuscan cooking.
