Tenuta San Leonardo Grappa Stravecchia 500ml

Tenuta San Leonardo Grappa Stravecchia is a long-aged grappa from Trentino, at 45% alcohol, in a 500ml decanter.

Grappa is distilled from the skins, seeds and stalks left after the grapes have been pressed for wine. Trentino is one of the historic homes of grappa, and this one is made from the pomace of the red grapes grown on the Guerrieri Gonzaga family's estate. Stravecchia means extra old: the spirit is matured in wood for several years, which gives it a deep amber colour and a rounder character.

Serve in a small tulip glass at cool room temperature after dinner, with dark chocolate or on its own.
