Description

The Luminist Prosecco is an Australian sparkling made from Glera, grown in the Riverina.

Glera is the grape behind Italian Prosecco and was planted in Australia from the late 1990s. The wine is made by the tank method, with its second fermentation in a sealed pressurised tank, which keeps the floral, pear-scented character that bottle ageing would bury. European rules reserve the Prosecco name for Italy, a point Australian growers continue to contest.

Serve cold at 7 degrees as an aperitif or with antipasti. Drink young.
