Description

The Paring Chardonnay is a bright, approachable Santa Barbara County Chardonnay, ready to drink on release.

The Paring is a sister label to The Hilt, drawing on fruit from Santa Barbara County, where ocean-cooled valleys give Chardonnay a natural freshness. It's made as a more approachable, earlier-drinking wine. The 2019 season brought low yields and cool days, and the blend reflects both: bold and rich on one hand, chiselled and steely on the other. Citrus and green melon lead, with hints of baking spice, and the wine shines straight out of the bottle, with no need for cellaring.

Pop and pour, lightly chilled, with fish tacos, a chicken Caesar or grilled prawns.
