Description

The Pawn El Desperado Pinot Grigio is a crisp dry white from the Adelaide Hills.

Picked early, Pinot Grigio keeps the light, pear-scented character of the northern Italian style rather than the fuller Pinot Gris approach, and the Hills' altitude holds the acidity that requires. The El Desperado range is the winery's accessible tier, named in keeping with its chess theme. Fermentation is cool, in stainless steel, without oak.

Serve at 9 degrees with antipasti, seafood or a light pasta. Drink within two years.
