Description

The Pawn El Desperado Sauvignon Blanc comes from the Adelaide Hills, east of the city.

The winery's names run on a chess theme, and El Desperado is its everyday range. Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc sits between the Loire and Marlborough in style, with citrus and herb rather than tropical fruit, because the altitude and cloud cover slow ripening. The wine is pressed gently and fermented cool in stainless steel.

Serve at 9 degrees with oysters, goat's cheese or green vegetables. Drink within two years.
