The Pawn Grüner Veltliner 2023

The Pawn Grüner Veltliner is an Austrian variety grown in the cool Adelaide Hills.

Grüner Veltliner is the most planted grape in Austria and needs cool, continental conditions to give its white-pepper and citrus character, which is why Australian plantings are concentrated in the Hills and the Canberra District. It is still rare enough here to be a curiosity. The wine is fermented cool and kept dry, without oak.

Serve at 10 degrees with schnitzel, pork or green vegetables. Drink within four years.
