The World of Fine Wine - Issue #72

The World of Fine Wine Issue #72 is a quarterly wine journal, printed and bound to book standard.

First published in 2004, the journal made its reputation on long-form writing and forensic tasting reports, and has taken Best Wine Magazine in the World from Gourmand International and International Wine Publication of the Year at the Louis Roederer awards more than once. This number carries Andrew Jefford on what he calls wine's transactional flaw, Hugh Johnson on Steven Spurrier, James Lawther MW on progressive viticulture in Bordeaux and Margaret Rand on the Old Vines Conference. Verticals cover Château Léoville Poyferré from 1982 to 2019 and Château Ausone, with tasting reports on 2020 Bordeaux, 2016 Brunello and St-Péray.
