Tim Smith Barossa Mataro Rosé 2024

Tim Smith Barossa Mataro Rosé is a dry Barossa rosé from Mataro (Mourvèdre), easy to drink and made for the table.

Think Provence and Bandol. Mataro gives rosé a savoury, textural quality instead of simple sweetness, and it has grown in the Barossa since the early days of the region. Tim takes parcels from local growers and makes it pale and dry.

Pale, crisp and dry with a savoury finish, and very handy with food. Serve it well chilled, 6–8°C, with charcuterie, grilled prawns, salade niçoise or a long lunch outside.
