Description

Tim Smith Bugalugs Blanc is a Barossa white blend of Clairette, Viognier, Grenache Blanc and Roussanne, made along southern Rhône lines.

Tim sources white Rhône varieties from Barossa growers for this early-drinking blend. Each grape has a job: Roussanne for texture, Grenache Blanc for weight, Viognier for aromatics and Clairette for freshness. It's an unusual line-up on this side of the world.

Stone fruit and soft florals on a textured palate, finishing dry. Good at 8–10°C with Thai salads, roast chook, pork belly or soft cheese.
