Tim Smith Wines Bugalugs Barossa Shiraz is the easy-drinking red of the range, picked from vineyards on the valley floor.

Grapes are drawn from growers across the Barossa Valley, fermented warm for colour and flavour, then matured in older barrels so the wood stays in the background. Drinkability at a fair price is the whole point, and bottling happens early to keep the fruit fresh.

Dark berries, cocoa and a dusting of baking spice lead into soft tannins and an earthy edge. Serve at 16°C with barbecued steak, pizza or a bowl of ragù.
