Tim Smith Old Vine Barossa Grenache 2022

Tim Smith Old Vine Barossa Grenache is a medium-bodied red from old Barossa Grenache vines, all about perfume and finesse.

Old bush vines, low yields. That's the source of the concentration and fine tannins here. Grenache arrived in the Barossa in the nineteenth century, spent decades going into fortified wine and blends, and only recently has old-vine fruit been bottled and valued on its own terms.

Red cherry, raspberry and spice over silky, fine tannins. Pour it just under room temperature (15–17°C) with roast duck, pork belly, lamb cutlets or mushroom risotto.
