Tim Smith Riesling 2024

Tim Smith Riesling is a dry, crisp Barossa Riesling in the lean, citrusy South Australian style.

Up in the Barossa's eastern ranges the country is higher and cooler, with granite soils and cold nights, and Riesling has a long history there. Tim makes it dry and unoaked so the natural acidity leads. It also ages well in bottle.

Lime, lemon and florals, finishing fine and crisp. Lovely young, better still with a few years. Serve at 7–9°C with oysters, grilled fish, Vietnamese salads or a Thai curry.
