Tim Smith Roussanne 2024

Tim Smith Roussanne is a textural Barossa white from Roussanne, the Rhône grape prized for weight and savoury complexity.

You'll find Roussanne across both the northern and southern Rhône, but it's still rare in Australia. It isn't a loud aromatic grape. Its strengths are texture, weight, a savoury nuttiness and the ability to age, and Tim sources parcels from Barossa growers for this single-variety bottling.

Pear, stone fruit and a nutty, textural finish. Don't serve it too cold, 10–12°C lets the texture show, and pair it with roast chicken, pork, creamy pasta or crab.
