Description

Torres Sangre de Toro 375ml is the half-bottle version of the Torres family's classic Catalan red.

Few Spanish wines are as widely recognised as Sangre de Toro, which the Torres family has made for decades from its base in Vilafranca del Penedès. The blend is built on two traditional Mediterranean grapes, Garnacha and Cariñena, grown in Catalonia's warm vineyards. Garnacha supplies the soft, red-fruited heart of the wine, while Cariñena brings backbone and brightness. Expect a deep cherry colour, strawberry fruit, a touch of black pepper and a warm, firm finish lifted by fresh acidity.

A handy size for a picnic or a solo dinner. Open it at around 15 to 17 degrees with a burger, lamb kebabs, tapas or a simple tomato-based pasta.
