Description
Description
Trediberri Barbera d'Alba is made from Piedmont's everyday red grape, grown on La Morra slopes.
Barbera has high natural acidity and low tannin, which makes it a food wine above all, and when it is planted on hillsides good enough for Nebbiolo it gains a depth the variety rarely shows elsewhere. Trediberri works parcels around Berri and Rocche dell'Annunziata in La Morra. Fermentation is with native yeast and ageing in oak is brief.
Serve at 16 degrees with rich pasta, veal or roast pork. Drink over the next six years.
