Description
Trediberri Barolo Comune di La Morra is a village-level Nebbiolo from a young estate in the western corner of the zone.
La Morra is the largest and most westerly of the Barolo communes, its Tortonian marl soils giving wines that are perfumed and comparatively approachable alongside the firmer styles from Serralunga. Trediberri was founded in 2007 by Nicola Oberto with his father Federico and family friend Vladimiro Rambaldi, the name a contraction of the three of them from Berri, the hamlet where they are based. Fruit comes from parcels around Berri and Rocche dell'Annunziata, fermented with native yeast and aged in large oak casks.
Decant and serve at 17 degrees with agnolotti, roast veal or mushroom risotto. It drinks well from release and holds for a decade.
