Description

Triennes Rosé IGP Méditerranée is a pale, dry Provence rosé from an estate founded by two of Burgundy's most respected winemakers.

When Aubert de Villaine and Jeremy Seysses went looking for a southern project, they settled in the Var with their friend Michel Macaux, near the village of Nans-les-Pins. The estate's higher, cooler sites help keep the wines fresh and fine. The blend brings together Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah and Merlot, and the wine is made with the delicacy expected of good Provence rosé. It is pale pink, with strawberry, white flowers and a faint vanilla note on a crisp, harmonious palate.

Chill it well and bring it out on a warm afternoon. It suits bouillabaisse, grilled fish with herbs, tomato and basil salads, or a Provençal spread of olives and tapenade.
