Description
Two Hands Angels' Share is a McLaren Vale Shiraz named for the portion of wine that evaporates from barrel.
McLaren Vale sits south of Adelaide between the ranges and the gulf, and its sea breeze keeps Shiraz from the jamminess that warmer inland regions produce. Two Hands was founded in 1999 by Michael Twelftree and Richard Mintz, built on sourcing parcels across South Australia rather than owning one estate. The fruit is fermented in small open vessels and matured in French oak.
Serve at 17 degrees with barbecued meats, lamb or hard cheese. Drink over the next eight years.
