Description

Tyrrell's Chardonnay Pinot Noir Brut is a traditional-method sparkling from the Hunter Valley.

Tyrrell's planted Australia's first commercial Chardonnay in 1971, which gives the house a long history with the variety, and Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are the Champagne grapes. Fruit for sparkling is picked well before the still-wine harvest, at low sugar and high acidity. The wine is bottle-fermented and rested on lees.

Serve at 8 degrees as an aperitif, or with oysters and fried food. Drink on release.
