Tyrrell's Rufus Stone Heathcote Shiraz 2025

Tyrrell's Rufus Stone Heathcote Shiraz is made from Victorian fruit rather than the family's home region.

Heathcote in central Victoria sits on a narrow band of ancient Cambrian greenstone soil, half a billion years old, which holds water and gives Shiraz depth and fine tannin. Tyrrell's set up the Rufus Stone range to work with regions beyond the Hunter. The fruit is fermented in open vats and matured in French and American oak.

Serve at 17 degrees with barbecued beef, lamb or a rich stew. Drink over the next decade.
