Val d'Oca Valdobbiadene Prosecco Rive di San Pietro di Barbozza Extra Brut DOCG is a distinctive single-site Prosecco from San Pietro di Barbozza, a prized hamlet within the hills of Valdobbiadene in Veneto. The Rive designation identifies wines grown on steep, high-quality hillside vineyards from a specific village, where viticulture is more demanding and the expression of place is more precise. In this case, the vineyards sit around 350-400 metres above sea level, in one of the most respected corners of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene appellation.

Crafted from a blend of Glera with small portions of Pinot Nero, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay, this DOCG sparkling wine leans into a more structured, contemporary style of Prosecco Superiore. The inclusion of international varieties adds finesse, texture and depth, while Glera remains the backbone, preserving regional identity and freshness. The Extra Brut classification means very low residual sugar, resulting in a drier, more precise and mineral-driven expression that moves well beyond the easy-drinking style often associated with Prosecco.

Produced with gentle pressing and temperature-controlled fermentation using the Charmat method, it is a refined and site-expressive example of premium hillside Prosecco, shaped as much by its dramatic terroir as by its clean, modern winemaking approach.
