Description

Valli Vineyards 25th Anniversary Pinot Noir is a commemorative cuvée from Valli's Gibbston estate, marking the winery's 25th vintage.

The 2022 season, Valli's 25th vintage in Gibbston, brought ideal conditions, and Grant Taylor and Jen Parr chose to mark the milestone with this special estate wine. Gibbston, set along the Kawarau Gorge, is the highest and coolest of Central Otago's subregions and is known for perfumed, finely structured Pinot Noir. The slightly warmer 2022 season added density and concentration without losing finesse. The winemakers describe perfume, fine tannin, bright fruit and a delectable earthiness: everything they love about Gibbston Pinot Noir in one bottle.

A wine for a special occasion. Decant briefly, serve at around 16 degrees and pair with roast venison, beef Wellington or duck with cherry sauce. It will also cellar well for many years.
