Description

Valli Vineyards Row 36 Pinot Noir is a Gibbston Pinot Noir from Valli, offered here in magnum.

Valli was founded by Grant Taylor, one of the pioneers of Central Otago Pinot Noir, and is now run with winemaker Jen Parr. The winery is known for single-vineyard wines from across the region, and Row 36 comes from Gibbston, where the cool, high valley of the Kawarau Gorge gives Pinot Noir fragrance, fine tannin and fresh acidity. Magnums age more slowly than standard bottles, making this a good choice for the cellar or a larger gathering.

For a crowd, decant briefly and serve at around 16 degrees. It suits a roast leg of lamb, a whole roasted duck or a long lunch with friends.
