Vasse Felix Filius Sauvignon Blanc is a crisp, fresh Margaret River white with a mineral edge.

Margaret River Sauvignon Blanc tends to be riper and more textured than cooler-climate styles, and the Filius version fits that mould, clean and fresh with subtle savoury undertones. It comes from Wilyabrup's pioneering winery, established in 1967 and owned by the Holmes à Court family since 1987. Pear, lemon blossom and a hint of jasmine sit over a fresh white bread note, and the palate is bright with a crunchy nashi pear texture, finishing dry with lingering peach and pear.

Serve well chilled with oysters, a goat's cheese tart or a herby green salad. It is at its best in its first couple of years.
