Description

Verget Pouilly-Fuissé 1er Cru Sur la Roche is a Chardonnay from one of the appellation's premier cru climats.

Pouilly-Fuissé was granted premier cru status in 2020, the first new premiers crus in Burgundy for decades, and Sur la Roche is among the twenty-two climats recognised. It sits high on the limestone escarpment near the rock of Vergisson. Verget, founded by Jean-Marie Guffens at Sologny in 1990, works from bought-in fruit pressed in its own cellar.

Serve at 12 degrees with roast chicken, lobster, veal in a cream sauce or an aged Comté.
