Description

Veuve Ambal Crémant de Bourgogne Brut is a traditional-method sparkling from Burgundy.

Crémant de Bourgogne is made the same way as Champagne, with a second fermentation in bottle and a minimum of nine months on lees, from Burgundian grapes: mostly Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, with Aligoté and Gamay permitted. It comes from the same limestone country as the region's still wines, at a fraction of Champagne's price. Veuve Ambal was founded at Rully in 1898 and is among the largest producers of the appellation.

Serve at 8 degrees as an aperitif, or with oysters and fried food. Drink on release.
