Vietti Langhe Nebbiolo Perbacco 2023

Vietti Perbacco is a Langhe Nebbiolo made from vineyards within the Barolo communes, declassified to the wider appellation.

Langhe Nebbiolo covers the hills around Alba and allows producers to release the variety younger and in a lighter frame. Perbacco draws on the same parcels in Castiglione Falletto, Barolo, Monforte, La Morra and Novello that feed the estate's Barolo, so the structure is familiar even though the ageing is shorter. It is fermented with native yeast and matured in large casks for around two years.

Serve at 16 degrees with pasta, roast pork or a plate of salumi. It drinks well now and holds for eight years.
