Founded in 1975 on the outskirts of Logroño, Viña Ijalba was among the first Rioja estates to commit fully to organic farming and has long championed indigenous Rioja varieties alongside Tempranillo. The winery draws on estate-grown fruit from vineyards planted on the chalky clay soils of Rioja Alta, reflecting a philosophy that prizes sustainable, low-intervention viticulture.
