Viña Ventisquero Reserva Sauvignon Blanc is a zesty, fresh white from Chile's cool Casablanca Valley.

Casablanca sits between Santiago and the Pacific coast, where morning fog and sea breezes keep temperatures down, making it one of Chile's leading areas for crisp white wine. Ventisquero, founded in 1998, turns to this cool coastal valley for its Sauvignon Blanc. The Reserva range is the winery's everyday tier, and this Sauvignon Blanc keeps the freshness of the variety to the fore. Lime, grapefruit, pineapple and pear mingle with gentle herbal notes, followed by lively acidity and a clean citrus and tropical finish.

Pour it well chilled with ceviche, fish tacos or a zucchini and feta salad. Drink it young.
