Warre's Otima 10 Year Old Port 500mL NV

Warre's Otima 10 Year Old Port is a ten year old tawny from the Douro, presented in a clear, slim bottle that broke deliberately with three centuries of port convention.

Warre's was established in 1670 and is the oldest of the British port houses in the Douro, part of Symington Family Estates since the twentieth century. Otima was launched at the end of the 1990s as an attempt to bring tawny port to a younger audience, in a flat clear bottle designed to be kept in the door of a refrigerator rather than laid down. The wine itself is entirely traditional, a blend of casks matured in seasoned oak in the cool lodges at Vila Nova de Gaia, with an average age of ten years, and it is bottled ready to drink.

Serve chilled at about 12 degrees with almonds, dried fruit, blue cheese or a chocolate dessert; once opened it will keep for several weeks.
