Weingut Adams Ingelheim Spätburgunder 'Pares' is a single-vineyard Pinot Noir from the Pares site, one of the more storied parcels farmed by the estate in Ingelheim, Rheinhessen.

Pares is a historically significant vineyard that lay dormant for around thirty years before being replanted, and its naturally structured, limestone-rich soil now forms part of Weingut Adams' portfolio of small, closely tended parcels around Ingelheim, a region with some two thousand years of winegrowing history that was once regarded as Germany's red wine capital. Winemaker Simone Adams farms the site organically and regeneratively, with intensive manual work from pruning through to harvest, and the resulting wine is made bone-dry, unfiltered and unfined in keeping with the estate's minimal-intervention approach.

This is a structured, age-worthy red intended for drinkers who enjoy Pinot Noir with real backbone, well suited to special occasions or a longer stint in the cellar.
