Weingut Hüls Auslese Riesling 375ml 2018

Weingut Hüls Auslese is a sweet Mosel Riesling made from selected late-picked bunches.

Auslese sits above Kabinett and Spätlese in the German ripeness scale and means selected harvest: the pickers go through the vineyard choosing only the ripest bunches, often with some botrytis. The result is sweet but carried by the Mosel's piercing acidity rather than sitting heavily. It comes in a half bottle.

Serve cold at 8 degrees with fruit tart, foie gras or blue cheese. It will age for decades.
