Weingut Hüls Riesling 2023

Weingut Hüls Riesling comes from the slate slopes of the Mosel in western Germany.

The Mosel's vineyards are the steepest in the world of wine, some at sixty degrees, planted on blue and grey slate that stores the day's heat and radiates it back to the vines, which is what lets Riesling ripen this far north. The river's loops expose the slopes to the south. Wines here are low in alcohol and high in acidity.

Serve at 9 degrees with trout, pork or lightly spiced Asian food. It develops over eight years.
