Weingut Peter Jakob Kühn Riesling Trocken GG St. Nikolaus is a Grosses Gewächs dry Riesling from one of the Rheingau's most respected biodynamic estates, drawn from a single steep vineyard site.

The Kühn family has farmed vines in Oestrich-Winkel for generations, and the estate is a longstanding member of the VDP, Germany's association of top wine estates, and is certified biodynamic. St. Nikolaus is one of the family's prized sites, a steeply terraced slope whose soils give the wines their firm, mineral backbone. Farming is strictly organic and biodynamic, with low yields, hand harvesting and spontaneous fermentation, an approach the estate has followed for decades to let each individual vineyard speak clearly in the glass.

A powerful, structured dry Riesling built for the table, it suits richer seafood, poultry and cream-based dishes, and rewards a little time in the cellar.
