Weingut Veyder-Malberg Wachauer LIEBEDICH Grüner Veltliner comes from the Wachau, one of Austria's most celebrated white wine regions, prized for its terraced vineyards along the Danube.

Founder Peter Veyder-Malberg established the winery in Spitz an der Donau in 2008, bringing experience gained at wineries in California, New Zealand, Tuscany and Germany, plus many years managing viticulture and winemaking at an estate in the Weinviertel. Rather than expanding into new plantings, he has focused on seeking out exposed, steeply terraced sites with old vines and rescuing them from abandonment, farming with a minimal-intervention approach that lets the Wachau's granite and gneiss terroir speak clearly.

This is a bright, energetic white built for classic Grüner Veltliner pairings such as seafood, poultry and lighter, fresh-flavoured dishes.
