West Cape Howe Cape to Cape Cabernet Sauvignon 2023

West Cape Howe Cape to Cape Cabernet Sauvignon is a soft, approachable Western Australian Cabernet made for easy everyday drinking.

The producer's roots are on WA's south coast, with the winery now at Mount Barker in the Great Southern, a region known for Cabernet with fine structure and savoury edges. The Cape to Cape label focuses on friendly, good-value wines that show clear varietal character without needing time in the cellar. This Cabernet is crimson red, with red berries and dark plums, a light smoky thread through the fruit, soft tannins and a long, dry finish.

The winemakers suggest it with a cheese platter or almost any main meal, and it works well with roast beef, lamb koftas or a steak sandwich. Serve at around 16 to 18 degrees and drink over the next two to three years.
