West Cape Howe Cape to Cape Moscato NV

West Cape Howe Cape to Cape Moscato is a sweet, lightly spritzy pink Moscato from Western Australia with low alcohol.

Moscato in this style is all about fresh grape perfume and gentle sweetness, with alcohol kept low (around 6 per cent here) and a light spritz for lift. It comes from the approachable Cape to Cape range made by the Mount Barker-based winery. The colour is a very pale salmon pink, and the nose is pure Turkish delight, with rose blossom, musk sticks and a hint of sweet spice. The palate is luscious and fruity, with citrus, passionfruit and guava balanced by light acidity and a lingering finish.

Serve well chilled as an aperitif on a warm afternoon, or with fresh fruit, pavlova or a mild Thai curry. Best enjoyed young, while it is fresh and fragrant.
