West Cape Howe Cape to Cape Rosé 2026

West Cape Howe Cape to Cape Rosé is a pale, aromatic Western Australian rosé blending Tempranillo and Shiraz.

For this release Tempranillo joins Shiraz, giving a soft blue-purple glow to the pale pink colour, and part of the fruit comes from Frankland River, which adds savoury depth. It is made by the Mount Barker-based winery as part of its approachable Cape to Cape range. Expect red apple, strawberries and cream, cherry and red liquorice on the nose, then peach and strawberry on a textured palate with up-front fruit sweetness, a hint of blueberry and a snap of fresh acidity to finish.

Pop it in the fridge a good while before serving. It goes nicely with charcuterie, chorizo and prawn skewers or a summer tomato salad, and is best enjoyed within a year or two.
