West Cape Howe Regional Range Old School Chardonnay is a rich, full-bodied Chardonnay made in a generous, buttery style.

As the name hints, this is a nod to the rich, golden Chardonnays that won Australian drinkers over in decades past, made here with fruit from Western Australia's Great Southern. Expect white-fleshed stone fruit, vanilla, butterscotch and panna cotta on the nose, with a little musk, apple crumble and buttered popcorn. The palate is glossy and powerful, with creamy, pastry-like richness sitting ahead of citrus, and bright acidity keeps everything in shape and lengthens the finish.

Serve lightly chilled so the richness can shine. It stands up to roast chicken with all the trimmings, lobster with garlic butter or a creamy carbonara.
