West Cape Howe Regional Range Riesling 2026

West Cape Howe Regional Range Riesling is an aromatic, chalky dry Riesling from Western Australia's Great Southern.

The cool Great Southern turns out some of Australia's most distinctive Riesling, and the Mount Barker-based producer's Regional Range aims to capture that regional stamp. This 2026 release is especially heady: palest gold, with star jasmine, honeysuckle and orange blossom over mandarin, lime juice, yuzu and glazed ginger, and a faint note of talc. The palate is juicy and fresh with lime, grapefruit, preserved lemon and elderflower, the fruit sitting softly up front before a mineral acidity takes over and finishes very chalky.

A natural match for sashimi, prawn dumplings or a lemony roast chicken. Serve well chilled; it can be enjoyed now or cellared for several years.
