West Cape Howe Single Vineyard Series Two Steps Shiraz is a rich, concentrated Great Southern Shiraz from a single vineyard site.

The Single Vineyard Series is a premium tier from this Mount Barker-based producer, bottling fruit from individual sites that consistently stand out. This Shiraz spent time in oak and then more than two years in bottle before release, so it arrives well integrated while keeping its fruit. It is deep, dark crimson, with ripe plum, blueberry, violets and a hint of pomegranate molasses. The palate is richly flavoured and mouth-filling, with spicy dark plum and red berry balanced by lightly drying, slightly chalky tannins and sweet oak, finishing long.

Ready to enjoy now, it will also cellar for several more years. Decant before serving at around 16 to 18 degrees, and match it with a standing rib roast, osso buco or a hard aged cheese.
