Whistler Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2024

Whistler Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is grown on the family's biodynamic vineyard on the Barossa's western side.

Cabernet is a minor planting in a valley built on Shiraz, but the Barossa's warm, dry season ripens it fully and gives blackcurrant fruit with firmer tannin than the region's other reds. The Pfeiffer family has farmed the Heysen Estate since 1982 and converted to organic and biodynamic practice in 2013. Sam and Kelsey Pfeiffer have run the business since 2020.

Serve at 17 degrees with roast lamb, beef or hard cheese. Drink over the next ten years.
