Wickhams Road King Valley Pinot Gris 2023

Wickhams Road King Valley Pinot Gris is a dry white from Victoria, Australia, made from Pinot Gris.

The label points to the King Valley, in Victoria's north-east, where vineyards climb into the foothills of the Alps and the cooler, higher sites have long been a source of Pinot Gris. We hold no winemaking notes from the producer for this bottling, so we have left that detail out rather than fill it in.

Pinot Gris grown on cool Victorian sites tends to be dry to just off-dry, with pear and nashi fruit and a softer acid line than the leaner Grigio styles. Serve well chilled at around 8 degrees with salads, pork, or soft cheese.
