Wine & Soul Pintas Tinto 2020

Wine & Soul Pintas Tinto is the flagship red of the estate, a field blend sourced from a single, ancient vineyard of co-planted vines in Portugal's Douro Valley.

Founded in 2001 by husband-and-wife winemakers Sandra Tavares da Silva and Jorge Serôdio Borges, Wine & Soul built its name on this very vineyard, an old, densely planted plot where dozens of native varieties grow intermingled, a Douro tradition historically used for Port. Sandra and Jorge, both experienced Douro winemakers before striking out on their own, chose instead to vinify this exceptional site as a still, dry wine, and it remains the estate's most sought-after bottling. Their hands-on, low-intervention approach lets the depth and complexity of the old vines carry through into the glass.

This is a rich, structured red built for cellaring, ideal alongside slow-cooked meats and full-flavoured dishes.
