Wirra Wirra Dry Grenache Rosé 2025

Wirra Wirra Dry Grenache Rosé is a crisp, dry rosé made from McLaren Vale Grenache.

Grenache has a long history in McLaren Vale, and its bright red fruit and gentle tannins make it a natural choice for rosé. The Wirra Wirra estate, established in 1894 and revived in 1969, has always made the most of the variety. For this wine the grapes are handled gently to give a pale rose-gold colour, then fermented dry to keep the focus on freshness. Strawberry, blood orange and a hint of spice lead, and the palate combines crisp acidity with enough texture and weight to give it some extra interest at the table.

Pour it well chilled on a warm afternoon. It works with prawns, grilled haloumi, summer salads, charcuterie and lightly spiced Asian dishes, and is best enjoyed young.
