Description

Yabby Lake Pinot Gris comes from the estate vineyard on the northern Mornington Peninsula.

Pinot Gris suits the Peninsula's cool, maritime conditions, ripening to a pear-scented, textural white with the acidity to finish dry rather than broad. It sits alongside Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Syrah in the estate's plantings at Tuerong, established in 1998. The wine is whole-bunch pressed and given lees contact for weight.

Serve at 10 degrees with pork, roast chicken or a soft cheese. Drink within four years.
