Yalumba Samuel's Collection Barossa Grenache Rosé 2024

Yalumba Samuel's Collection Barossa Grenache Rosé is a crisp, refreshing rosé made from Barossa Grenache.

Grenache is the classic rosé grape of southern France, and the Barossa has plenty of it, including some very old vineyards. Rosé in this style is usually made from fruit picked earlier than it would be for red, so it keeps fresh acidity and delicate flavours, with only brief skin contact to give colour. Cool fermentation holds on to aromas of peach, strawberry and musk, and the salmon-coloured wine brings watermelon, cranberry and blood orange to the palate before a clean, moreish finish.

Serve well chilled on a warm afternoon with prawns, a Niçoise salad or grilled haloumi. Drink it young and fresh.
